The year was 1945. Two lovely people Chuck Lewis and Sandy Gutting met at Oceanside Pier in California while on a spring break. That same year, both submit their overpowering love for each other.
For some, "love at first sight" happens only in movies. But for Chuck and Sandy, it felt so right. Love was surely in the air.
However things didn't happen the way they wanted. Distance and personal concerns hindered the couple to show their love for each other when they finally went back to their homes.
They grew up, got married, created families and thought the word "reuniting" was no longer applicable for them.
But love played tricks in their favor.
Seventy years after they met, email connected them once more. Finally, they both realized their feelings for each other were still there. Dormant, but still there.
Their story is the exact opposite of Taylor Swift's famous song "We are never ever getting back together". They're so back in the getting-to-know stage and chat everyday online. Their families are happy and are all the way supporting them.
Love indeed has its timing. And when it hits you, you're never gonna let it go.
