Paul Walker Has Been Laid To Rest

Family and friends of Paul Walker paid their final respects on Saturday as they gathered at Forest Lawn Cemetery for the Fast and Furious star's funeral.

There was a "gloomy" tone to the ceremony, said an eyewitness.

"A few people got up and gave tributes to Paul. It was hard for many people to talk, they were in tears and couldn't finish what they were saying,” the source detailed.

The ceremony lasted about 40 minutes. Attendees were in deep grief hearing eulogies delivered near a large picture of the actor, which stood on an easel with white flowers surrounding it.

"It was a really sad day for so many people, and you could tell they just weren't ready to say goodbye," the eyewitness continued. "His parents were there, along with his brothers and some other family members. Everyone was hugging each other tight and didn't want to let go."

Paul's body was cremated and his ashes have been buried at the cemetery, according to Celebuzz.

The 4-year-old actor met his demise together with his 38-year-old friend Roger Rodas in a car crash two weeks ago. The car slammed hard into a pole and exploded in flames in Santa Clarita, California.

Paul is survived by his daughter Meadow, 15, his parents Paul and Cheryl, two brothers and one sister.
