The limelight for Parokya ni Edgar's front man Chito Miranda and former Star Circle Quest contestant Neri Naig is back, but this time it's for the ringing bells.
Their relationship made them both stronger after their private videos were leaked online. Chito Miranda recently announced on national television that he and Neri are now engaged, and has been planning to tie the knot for a long time.
It can be recalled that Miranda said during his interview regarding the leaked videos that someone broke into his house. One of the stolen items was the hard drive where the video was saved. They have since filed a case at the National Bureau of Investigation to find the person who uploaded the videos.
The couple's relationship made them both stronger after they stood by each other during one of the biggest blows in their lives. They love each other, and that's all that matters.
"I planned this ever since. Of course, when you're in a relationship, you always want to think that this will be it," Miranda said.
Miranda made the announcement of their engagement during the band's 20th anniversary album called Bente. He also added that Neri took the controversy hard but because she's surrounded by the people she loves, things worked out just fine.
He also thanked his family, Neri's family, friends and fans for their support and for not leaving them behind.
"They really made us feel that we are loved. It was never an issue for them."
Meanwhile, fans and supporters following the couple on Instagram are congratulating and sending their wishes.
"Saw your interview at ABS-CBN regarding the wedding! Stay strong and happy together!," said one of their supporters using the name Chaseme30
