PALAWAN - Residents captured a huge crocodile right underneath a residential home in Barangay Rio Tuba in Bataraza, Palawan early Wednesday.
Measuring about 16.3 feet, the crocodile was captured after residents noticed something making a racket under their house in Sitio Marabahay at around 1 a.m.
It took six people to capture the reptile. Photos taken by Sheena Paredes Muyco showed residents dragging the crocodile from underneath the house using ropes.
PO1 Roel Sandoval said the crocodile will be turned over to the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, which takes care of two species of crocodiles found in the Philippines.
