(Video) Baby sent to morgue turns out to be alive

A two-week old baby baby who showed signs of weakness was rushed at General Santos Doctors Hospital on July 20.

According to the doctor, Baby Aldrin had no heartbeat and he wasn't breathing anymore when brought to the hospital.

He was successfully revived by doctors and was then put under intubation. And since he was having difficulty breathing, a bag valve mask was used to aid him.

After a few days at the hospital and with a P100,000 hospital bill waiting, the mother of the baby decided to send the baby to the morgue. She thought Baby Aldrin's condition won't improve.

The doctor made it clear however that he didn't give any statement or declaration that the baby is dead. At 5pm on Friday, the baby was brought to the morgue.

But the next day at about 8am, the baby's mother was told that Aldrin was still moving and breathing.

PO3 Jepson Corsit said he was the one who heard the baby crying inside the morgue. The baby's mother said she is thankful that her baby did not immediately undergo embalming.

The baby was rushed to the hospital and is now in stable condition.
