3 Pinoys die in road mishap in Jeddah

Three Filipinos working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were instantly killed when one of the tires of the pick up truck they were riding suddenly burst, and threw them off the vehicle.

The casualties were identified as Gerardo Bernal, Jenefrey Monteclaro and Karamuddin Dimalaya, and were employed by Mohammad Munsour Al Bassami Group Construction. Dimalaya was the company driver and both Bernal and Monteclaro worked as mechanics.

According to a co-worker, the accident happened past 6 p.m. on Thursday on their way home from Dahban with 10 people on board.

It was really unfortunate for the Bernal family since he planned to be with his family next year after his contract of two years expires.

The remains of the identified fatalities are at King Fahad's Hospital.
