Pope Francis condemns 'leprosy' in Vatican

In an interview on Tuesday, Pop Francis condemns "leprosy" adding that papacy in Vatican was " too Vatican-centric.

The Pope is going to meet for the first time group of cardinals he has called to advise on reforms, asking for the Church to see the modern world.

His ways are far too different and modern as opposed to the traditional and more Narcissuses approach of the leaders of the Church.

Leaders of the Church have often been Narcissuses, gratified and sickeningly excited by their courtiers. The court is the leprosy of the papacy," Francis said.

The Holy See "is too Vatican-centric", he said.

He also revealed his thoughts of turning down the papacy after he was elected in March in the Sistine Chapel.

He said he felt great anxiety so he asked if he can be alone for a few minutes in the balcony next room before accepting.

"I closed my eyes and all thoughts disappeared. Even the one about refusing the nomination  At some point a great light filled me. It lasted a moment but for me it seemed a very long time," he said.
