Vice President Jejomar Binay criticized harshly online for his relief bags

Netizens are fulminating against Vice President Jejomar Binay after the relief bags for provinces who suffered from earthquake on Wednesday last week surfaced online.

Binay's name is emblazoned on the relief bags.

For netizens, the Vice President move is downright "electioneering" and he's certainly taking advantage of the situation.

Two Facebook pages voiced out their dismay over the VP.

“Our money, Binay’s glory," said Expose Graft and Corruption in Government” on their Facebook page.

“Pati relief goods for Bohol may pangalan o (Even relief goods for Bohol has his name). Not good. You’ve reached a new low, Mr. Vice President,” said Anti-Epal” on its caption of the photo.

According to the comments, Binay shouldn't label his name on the bags. There's no need for it. One of the commenters even questioned whether Binay used his own money to have the bags printed.

Despite the urges by some users not to elect the VP in the 2016 election, some defended him for his effort in giving a hand to those affected by the earthquake.
