Pet Owner Received Full Support From Netizens After Neighbor Killed Her Dog

Appalling Images of a basset hound who passed away a little past 12 noon today is circulating online. The poor dog named Echo suffered third degree burn after a neighbor allegedly poured boiling water to its skin.

Jackie Lim, Echo's owner, uploaded the images on ABS-CBN Facebook page. The giant news company in the Philippine however made no reply yet.

“Binuhusan siya ng kapitbahay ng kumukulong tubig out of nowhere,” she wrote.

(He was doused by a neighbor of boiling water for no apparent reason)

The dog succumbed to his injuries after suffering from non-stop bleeding at 12:08 earlier today, March 8, 2014.

Netizens came to aid the grief-stricken owner and expressed anger over the incident.

A certain Recah Ramos commented: “Ang sakit sa puso ng mga ganitong story. May mga tao talagang sagad sa buto ang kasamaan. Kelan kaya matatapos ang mga ganyang animal cruelty?”

(This kind of story pains me. There are people who are really terrible. When will animal cruelty end?)

“I got teary eyed by just looking at him. I felt how helpless he seems to be now I felt how he wants to be saved and treated,” Agustine Cotas commented.

Another commenter encouraged Lim to have it reported to Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) as animal cruelty is visible in this incident.

The neighbor hasn't been identified yet, and Lim hasn't file any charges either. Her response will definitely clear doubts and will shed light to the story.
